Text: Friends of the Earth

on 2012-05-14, 07:01
I didn't use to read newspapers and magazines. However, I noticed that it is important to have in formation from different sources. So, I decided to read. This is an article about the environment which I found in a magazine.
"Friends of the Earth" is an organization that works to improve the environment we try to persuade people in governments and elsewhere to protect the environment.
We also let people know what in happening in the environment by producing, brochures and books. "Friends of the Earth" fights for nature protection in many areas, air and land and the use of energy and transport.
In Britain, "Friends of the Earth" has over 200.000 supporters and 250 local groups. These groups fight all over the country for a better environment "Friends of the Earth International" organizes a world wide network of environment groups. We have groups in more than 50 countries and are active in helping local people over the world solve their environment problems. If you are not a member of "Friends of the Earth" why not join us now? Now, more than ever, the earth needs the friends it can get.
